Fanshawe College Conference Services offers everything that you need in one location.
Our conference planning professionals are available year-round to assist you in planning your successful event. Working with various departments on campus, our “one-stop-shop” coordinates all aspects of your event, making the planning easy and convenient for you. We arrange all accommodations, catering requirements, as well as parking, recreation, audio visual, classroom and lecture theatre rentals and much more.
Fanshawe College boasts a variety of spacious meeting rooms, classrooms, computer labs and lecture theatres, with a range of capacities from as few as 10 individuals to as many as 346. All the venue’s rooms are equipped with the latest technologies and audio-visual equipment, making even the most complex displays and presentations as efficient and simple as possible.
During summer months (May to August), Fanshawe College offers accommodations for overnight guests. The venue has 1,200 guest rooms available, ensuring that it has the space needed to accommodate your group regardless of size. What stands out most about the accommodations at Fanshawe is the versatility of the spaces, as the setting is ideal for individuals, groups families and conference delegates.

Meeting & Event Spaces
Classrooms
With over 100 classrooms available, Fanshawe offers rentals of classrooms with sizes from 10 to 120 people. Our classrooms are equipped with a computer, Wi-Fi, USB connections, digital video projector, tables and chairs, DVD, public address system, screen and whiteboard. Many classrooms also have a SmartBoard.
Lecture Theatres
Our lecture theatres seat from 115 to 346 people, and we have 10 of them! Each theatre is equipped with a computer, Wi-Fi, digital video projector, laptop & USB connections, desks and chairs, DVD, public address system, screen, audio system, whiteboard and SmartBoard. Our largest lecture theatre also has a slide projector and a piano!
Conference Rooms
Fanshawe has several options with seating from 10 to 50 people. Our conference rooms are equipped with a computer, digital video projector, overhead projector, tables and chairs, DVD, VCR, public address system, screen and a whiteboard.
Gyms 1 & 2
This space is 15,000 square foot sprung wood floors that can be seperated by a 26 foot clear height, hydraulic wall that lowers to create two 68 x 110 foot gymnasia. There are 750-seat retractable stands (expandable to 800 seats) and 11 change-rooms (all are wheelchair accessible). This large air conditioned gym offers endless event possibilities including sporting events, tradeshows, concerts, ceremonies, seated dinner banquets, exams and more!
Gym 3
This space is approximately 68 x 110 complete with mezzanine permanent seating area for about 100 spectators. The mezzanine overlooks all three gyms when the hydraulic wall is up and can be used for drop-in table tennis or ping pong
The Oasis
The Oasis has a wonderful view of the outdoors as well as plenty of natural light for a relaxed atmosphere. This “Marche” style restaurant can cater to any taste. We can accommodate a banquet for up to 250 people on one floor or up to 300 if we use the second level. This multi-purpose space is just steps from our residence buildings and makes a perfect location for catered meals, wedding receptions, awards ceremonies, banquets, meet & greet receptions, AGM's and more!
The James A. Colvin Atrium
Located in B Building is the James A Colvin Atrium. As one of Fanshawes' most impressive areas it includes both table and booth seating which can hold up to 270 people. It has hosted most of the colleges most important events and it's two-level arrangement makes it the perfect facitlity for banquets and award ceremonies.
H Cafeteria
This space has a wonderful view with floor to ceiling windows at it's far end. It offers much space and can seat up to 208 people. It is a convenient space for setting up information booths, hosting an exhibit or even hosting a banquet.
Outback Shack
The Out Back Shack is our 180 seat full-time bar and restaurant, which feature an excellent, roadhouse style menu and atmosphere. This room has plenty of character and can be used as a hospitality or party room. We also have an adjoining patio for when the weather is nice. The Out Back Shack features an in house sound system, stage area and big screen capability.
D Cafeteria
Located in D Building, this space is very open and bright and can seat up to 200 people. It also leads to an outside courtyard and includes an upper mezzanine area which can seat an additonal 50 people. D Cafeteria is a popular place for banquets and large functions.
Airport Hangar
Fanshawe’s Norton Wolf School of Aviation Technology offers a 31,800 square foot airport hangar located at the London International Airport. The sky is the limit in this large multi-purpose industrial space! The hangar can be used for a variety of events including tradeshows, fashion shows, seated dinner receptions for 500+ guests, and theatre style seating events for 1000+ guests. We can even setup airplanes on display to make your event even more unique!

Outback Shack
The Out Back Shack is the Fanshawe Student Union's 180 seat full-time bar and restaurant. The Out Back Shack features a full service bar, unique decor, eight draught taps, and a complete roadhouse style menu.
Other features include an outdoor patio, big screen television, movie nights, comedy nights, as well as karaoke. The Out Back Shack is available

Fanshawe Student Union Catering Services has been providing exceptional dining and conference event experiences to London and the surrounding area since 2004. The professional catering staff will pamper you at your event, using menus created by their exceptional culinary team, using only the freshest ingredients. The Fanshawe Student Union Catering Services offers a wide variety of Conference, Catering and Food Service options to group organizers and guests. After all, what’s a place to stay or meet without having great food conveniently located on site!
Chartwells Impressions Catering
Chartwell’s Catering offers menu suggestions to satisfy any event, from the smallest of meetings and informal gatherings, to full service banquets. Their professional team will provide quality service through each stage of planning to create a truly “impressionable” event.

A small number of two bedroom suites are also available.
Residence common areas are in every building and include the following: activity lounges (pool tables, ping pong tables, shuffleboard and television lounges). A common kitchen is available with stove tops and ovens. Study lounges for smaller group gatherings.

Kestrel Court
Kestrel Court, which opened in 2011, has 66, non-smoking, fully-furnished six bedroom townhouses with a total occupancy of 396 guests. These units are conveniently located steps away from the College. There are four bedrooms on the upper level, and two bedrooms on the lower level. Our office, Unit 7, is staffed daily. Each bedroom includes a double sized captains bed, desk, closet and internet conncection. The living room has two sofas and one armchair, a television with cable and a coffee table. There are two 3 piece bathrooms and one half bathroom. There is also a full-size kitchen in each unit.
